"My faith was strengthened when I saw God’s people being His hands and feet in this broken world. God showed up in a way that was tangible and life-altering and I was invited to be apart of it."

-Kate C.

"Serve the City is a fantastic opportunity to get closer with other people at my church and go deeper on my walk with Jesus in practical ways on a day-to-day basis. I get a front row seat, seeing the needs in my community, and demonstrating what it looks like to be the hands and feet of the Kingdom of God."

-Jay T.

"It is hard to put into words the blessing it has been to serve alongside others. There is something so powerful about serving together as a community. I’ve seen God move and provide in ways I couldn’t even imagine and it’s reminded me of how much God loves and cares for the people in Quincy."

-Scott T.

Whether it's a soccer clinic, beautifying an area of one of the main entrances to our high school, or providing maintenance to the senior center, people can see the impact LCC is having here in Braintree. I am so thrilled that I have been able to play even a small part in the week to show people Jesus' love for us through the love we are showing our community.

-Adam R.

We have been able to continue to strengthen our relationship with the foster care community. The last couple of years we’ve partnered with The Forgotten Initiative, an organization that supports foster care agencies through partnerships with local churches, to support the coastal DCF office. It’s been so encouraging to see the relationships cultivated with the workers in that office year after year and be able to show them the love of Jesus.

-Rachel M.

"With just a small group of volunteers, God enabled us to transform a room from uninhabitable to ready and welcoming for a new sober home tenant."

-Terry C.

"I never would have imagined that I would be transformed through serving. Not only was I blessed to see God move and provide at our serve sites, but each year without fail, God has brought people who were able to help and encourage our family through some of the toughest times. Don’t underestimate what God can do in and through you when you’re serving others."

-Ashley T.
