Mission, Vision
& Beliefs

OUR MISSION IS TO GLORIFY GOD BY LEADING PEOPLE TO FOLLOW JESUS IN ALL OF LIFE.

our core values

GOSPEL CENTRALITY

The gospel is central to God’s story and so it is central to ours.

RADICAL GENEROSITY

We are generous, because God has been generous to us.

BIBLICAL COMMUNITY

Through faith in Jesus, strangers become family.

DEFINITIVE PRAYER

Because we believe God.

We believe that God has given us a big vision for the future…to ensure that 100,000 people throughout Greater Boston and the South Shore have access to the Gospel by multiplying 1 Missional Community for every 1,000 people and mobilizing indigenous leaders to start more Parishes.

BELIEFS

THE ESSENTIALS

There is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. He is the creator of heaven and earth.

The scriptures are true, sufficient, and authoritative.

All things exist for God’s glory.

All of humanity is sinful from birth, and the deserved penalty for sin is physical and spiritual death.

Jesus was born of a virgin, both fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, and died a sacrificial, substitutionary death to pay the penalty for sin. He physically rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will one day return.

It’s only through repentance and faith in the work of Jesus that one can experience true joy and new life.

Jesus will judge the living and the dead. All those who repent and put their trust in Jesus Christ alone to be saved will enjoy the presence of God for eternity. Those who do not repent and instead trust in something or someone else will be separated from God forever.

THEOLOGICAL
DISTINCTIVES

There are a number of biblical convictions that even many gospel-centered churches disagree about. Though agreement with these distinctions is not necessary to attend or even to become a member, it should be noted that we will preach, teach, and counsel in accordance with these doctrinal convictions.
